We congratulate Mr. Michail Kravchenko on passing his doctoral dissertation with the title<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Tracking Detector and M\u00f8ller Polarimeter for the P2 Experiment”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michail Kravchenko has defended his PhD on the P2 experiment at MESA. He has optimised the cooling system of the tracking detector, which will allow to transport kilowatts of heat generated by thousands of pixel sensors out of the detector using a fast-flowing stream of helium gas.He has also designed the magnetic optics and collimators for the detection system of the P2 Moller polarimeter and demonstrated their performance in extensive simulations. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
